No decision yet on Lifford Hospital
Fianna Fáil’s bye-election candidate in Donegal South West, Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill, has said no decision has yet been taken on the future of the Lifford Community Hospital. He also has accused Sinn Féin of scaring vulnerable patients and their families.
Senator Ó Domhnaill continued “I have been assured by my colleague the Minister for Older People, Aíne Brady TD, that the director of nursing is in contact with the residents and their families regarding their care. In addition the HSE will be consulting with residents and their families about all their options for care into the future”.
