The Government has agreed to continue the Public Service Obligation (PSO) subsidy for Donegal Airport, according to local Senator Brian Ó’Domhnaill.

The Senator, who has been selected as a candidate in Donegal South West for the upcoming general election, has secured assurances about the future of the PSO from the Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey.

Donegal South West Bye-election candidate Fianna Fáil Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has said today (12 November) that the construction of the new A&E unit in Letterkenny will be completed.

Fianna Fail’s By-Election Candidate in Donegal South West Brian Ó Domhnaill has said that the development of cancer services in his constituency is one of his key priorities.

Senator O’Domhnaill continued, “I will continue to put pressure on the Minister for Health to ensure that follow-up mammography services will be put in place at Sligo General for breast cancer patients who have finished treatment. The delivery of this service is vitally important to my constituents many of whom live only 30 minutes away from Sligo Hospital”.

Donegal South West Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has today (Monday) confirmed that he has had a very positive meeting with Transport Minister Noel Dempsey TD about the future of the Public Service Obligation (PSO) for Donegal Airport.
