Ó Domhnaill Welcomes Funding of €70,000 for Aislann Rann na Feirste

Donegal South West Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has welcomed confirmation from his colleague the Minister for Social Protection Eamon Ó Cuív TD that €70,000 has been provided to Aislann Rann na Feirste under the Community Services Programme for 3 Full time Positions. 

Ó Domhnaill said: “This funding has been provided by the Minister for Social Protection under the Community Services Programme 1 Manager, 2 Full Time positions at Aislann Rann na Feirste. ”

“Aislann Rann na Feirste is a Community & Entreprise Centre which was funded by An Roinn Gnóthaí, Pobail, Comhionnais & Gaeltachta, Údarás na Gaeltachta and the International Fund Ireland and is a tremendous boost to the Lower Rosses Area.”

“I have worked closely with my colleagues MEP Pat the Cope Gallagher and Cllr David Alcorn in assisting the local committee in the development of this project.

“This funding will allow the Local Committee to professionally operate the centre allowing it to realise it’s full potential and I would like to take this opportunity  in commending the Aislann Committee for all their work and commitment in developing this excellent community project.”

“I wish to thank Minister Eamon ÓCuív TD for approving the funding.”
