Donegal South West Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has welcomed the announcement that €23,075,301 million has been allocated to Donegal County Council under the Regional and Local Road Grant Allocations.
Ó Domhnaill said: “I welcome today’s confirmation that over €23 million has been allocated to Donegal County Council under the Regional and Local Road Grant Allocations.”
“I also welcome the allocation of €139,000 to Bundoran Town Council. This funding is an increase of 10% on last year’s allocation.“ ;Said Ó Domhnaill
“The funding of €23 million in funding represents a significant sum for County Donegal and I know that the funding will be well utilised throughout the County. I hope that the Council will now prioritise making the necessary repairs. “; Said Ó Domhnaill
“Many Local & Regional Roads in the County have been damaged as a result of the poor weather over the winter period and therefore I hope that the Council can now begin repair works on many of the vast sections of roads across the County.”
